Marine food service subject matter experts attended the first annual Western Pacific Food Service Advisory Summit April 19 aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The summit allowed personnel in the food service industry to hear about upcoming change, voice their concerns and learn problem solving solutions from the more experienced.

Female veterans joined together in downtown New Orleans for the Women Veterans Leadership Summit held by The Mission Continues on April 3, 2016. The Mission Continues aims to connect veterans with service projects and allows them share insights, challenges, and ways to be leaders in the community. Joining the veterans was Brig. Gen. Helen G. Pratt, commanding general, of Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, who held a work shop and spoke to the women about leadership.

The Sports Car Club of America has teamed up with the Single Marine Program to rally up car lovers for the Autocross at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Mar. 5-6, 2016. The SCCA and SMP bring together automobile enthusiasts to drive vehicles to the limit in a safe environment which teaches them control and safety measures.
