Canine Visitation Program

American Red Cross Service Dog trainer, Sunnie Tortorici demonstrates the abilities of the new therapeutic service dog, Pappy Boyington, at the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 10, 2018. Pappy is a 15-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mix and has earned his American Kennel Club Good Citizen and Therapy One Training. Volunteers and pet owners looking to involve themselves in the Canine Visitation Program should submit a request to the program’s coordinator, John Jasinksi, or call the American Red Cross Camp Lejeune at 910-451-2173.
