U.S. Marines assigned to 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, conduct rappelling operations with the help from Santa to deliver toys and raise awareness for the annual U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, U.S. Coast Guard Sector Mobile, Mobile, Alabama, Nov. 16, 2023. Toys for Tots, a national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each Christmas holiday season. U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 152 and 4th Law Enforcement Battalion travel to five small Alaskan towns, Dec. 15-20, 2019. The Marines traversed almost 700 miles of Alaskan wilderness in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit to deliver Christmas spirit to children in remote locations.
