Intro to Combat Fitness Test, Combat Care - Day T5, Phase One, MCRDSD Training Matrix

Training Day 05 - Recruits are introduced to the Combat Fitness Test. The CFT assesses a Marine’s ability to perform high-intensity combat-related tasks and consists of three events: movement to contact, ammunition can lift, and the maneuver under fire. Recruits will also receive further instruction in Combat Care.
