U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment (1/3), conduct live-fire training at Continued Range-5 and 7 during Fuji Viper 16-3 on Camp Fuji, Fuji, Japan, Feb. 1-4, 2016. The Marines of 1/3 conducted live-fire training to sustain their proficiency in combat operations. Fuji Viper 16-3 is a training exercise where Marines and Sailors conduct live fire and non-live fire combined arms training in order to sustain combat proficiency to support contingency operations in the U.S. Pacific Command area of operations.
