This training ensures Marines can safely operate a tactical vehicle in an arctic environment. MRF-E focuses on regional engagements throughout Europe by conducting various exercises, arctic cold-weather and mountain warfare training, and military-to-military engagements, which enhance overall interoperability of the U.S. Marine Corps with allies and partners. The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) supports U.S. Marines and Sailors during the motor vehicle safety and awareness event at the 62 area helicopter outlying landing field, Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, California, Nov. 4, 2018. MCB Camp Pendleton hosted the SCCA event to provide base personnel with a first-hand experience in enhanced driver decision making, braking and overall driving safety awareness. Being able to control the Viking Amphibious All-Terrain Vehicle (BvS10) in cold weather is a crucial skill that Marines need in order to operate safely. Autocross at Cherry Point

The Sports Car Club of America has teamed up with the Single Marine Program to rally up car lovers for the Autocross at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Mar. 5-6, 2016. The SCCA and SMP bring together automobile enthusiasts to drive vehicles to the limit in a safe environment which teaches them control and safety measures.
