HMHT-302 Installs WiFi On Flightline

Marine Heavy Helicopter Training Squadron 302 installed a new Wi-Fi system at Marine Corps Air Station New River Sept. 14, 2017. The Wi-Fi capability allows Marines to use computers out on the flight line instead of walking back to the hangar to update the information on the aircraft. HMHT-302 is assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.

HMHT-302, CLB-6 Perform Dual Training in External Lifts

Marines with Marine Heavy Helicopter Training Squadron 302 and Combat Logistics Battalion 6, participate in a dual-point, external lift training exercise aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 06, 2015. Two student pilots flew under the direction of Maj. Matt Weaver, a CH-53E Super Stallion instructor pilot with HMHT-302, to complete basic pilot certification. Landing support specialists with CLB-6 worked in helicopter support teams to support ground operations.

Landing support specialists with Combat Logistics Battalion 2, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, conducted helicopter support team operations with Marine Heavy Helicopter Training Squadron 302, Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Air Wing, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan. 29, 2015. Marines would practice and rotate positions to become familiar with each portion of a HST. This is an annual training requirement for landing support specialist Marines.
