IRBs provide a wet-gap crossing capability either as a floating bridge or as a multi-bay for tracked and wheeled combat tactical vehicles. About 270,000 people attended the annual Naha Tug-of-War festival Oct. 7, 2018 in Okinawa, Japan. The festival attracts thousands of participants each year who come to pull the rope for either the East or West.
