On Dec. 7, 1941, U.S. Naval Air Station Kaneohe Bay , now Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, was attacked by Japanese long-range fighter aircraft minutes before the attack at Pearl Harbor. The Japanese attacks left 17 U.S. Navy Sailors and two civilian contractors dead and 67 wounded. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Gunnery Sgt. Orlando Perez)
