U.S. Marines assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Africa worked with Spanish Unidad Militar Emergencias members during a natural disaster and evacuation exercise to share training ideas and maintain readiness for future operations.

U.S. Marine Corps explosive ordnance disposal technicians with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Crisis Response-Africa met with Unidad Militar de Emergencias personnel from the Spanish Defense Force to demonstrate their robotic assets and survey the UME disaster training site at Morón Air Base, Spain, Feb. 18, 2015. UME personnel provide disaster relief throughout Spain and, if required, abroad. SPMAGTF-CR-AF regularly engages in training with Allies to build stronger working relationships.
