The Veterans in Piping program, located on MCB Camp Lejeune is an 18-week long program that focuses on accelerated training of highly marketable skills such as welding and the repair of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration) systems. U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 3 and Marine Wing Support Detachment 24, undergo a tactical fabrication course using 3D printers on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, Sept. 17-19, 2018. The purpose of this course is to increase knowledge and awareness of the capabilities of tactical fabrication, and its ability to increase operational readiness across Hawaii based Marine units. Drill Master of Marine Barracks Washington Gunnery Sgt. Aaron Calderon is in charge of preparing Marines, such as the Silent Drill Platoon and the Official Marine Corps Color Guard, for ceremonies in the National Capital Region and around the world. He is also the subject matter expert for drill in the Marine Corps. This video was captured to recruit Marines to apply for the position of Drill Master before June 1, 2018.
