U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Geoff Laney, instructor, Marine Corps Engineer School, Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, competes in the Strongman Corporation National Championships 2024 in Greenville, South Carolina, Sept. 20, 2024 to Sept. 21, 2024. Laney, North Carolina’s Strongest Man, has won seven Strongman competitions, set seven world records and has competed in regional, state and national level competitions in the U.S. and in Okinawa, Japan while advocating for more Marines to participate in the sport.
