Midshipmen from the Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland, arrived at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., for week-long training to learn about the Marine Corps, July 13, 2015. The midshipmen participated in a rapel tower and gas chamber, then fired various infantry weapons on the range.

British Royal Marine Commandos, Romanian Mountain Brigade soldiers and U.S. Marines with Black Sea Rotational Force participated in Exercise Platinum Lynx, May 4-16. This exercise allows all the nations to come together and practice their mountaineering ability while building lasting partnerships and friendships. The exercise involved hiking, climbing and a culminating three-day final exercise.

Marines with 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, completed the endurance course, the final event during the Basic Jungle Survival Course, at the Jungle Warfare Training Center.
