I Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) maintains readiness is deployed to the Indo-Pacific, amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The forward-deployed forces took abundant mitigation efforts to include pre-deployment quarantine, regular testing and temperature checks. Col. Christopher A. Feyedelem passes the regimental colors at the 3rd Marine Logistics Group Headquarters Regiment change of command ceremony, June 28, 2017, on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan. Since July 2015, Feyedelem, a Norwalk, Ohio native, has served as the regimental commanding officer as well as the camp commander for Camp Kinser. His responsibilities not only entailed taking care of his Marines, but also developing relationships and working closely with the local community of Urasoe City.
