The 58th Signal Battalion was first activated in 1941 at Camp Peay, Tenneessee. The Battalion then moved to Fort Lewis, Washington to support the Vietnam War until it was inactivated in 1980. The command next activated in Okinawa on October 16th, 1992. Marine Corporal Alisa Helin takes us to Torii Station as the battalion inactivates after twenty years of active service.
