Marine Corps Community Services invited families from the local and U.S. communities to the annual Reach Out event at the Butler Officers’ Club June 2 aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan.

The Exceptional Family Member Program hosted Making Waves, a pool event for families that have children with special medical or educational needs aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Feb. 3, 2017. Making Waves gave families the opportunity to let loose and have a fun day at the pool. Activities included a ring toss, rafting, floating lessons and a family free swim. U.S. Marine Corps Service members, family members and Ginger Booth, training education outreach specialist with the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP), discuss the services EFMP provides to assist the lives of active duty U.S. Marine families. EFMP helps active duty service members with managing the special needs of a family member. The Miramar Officers' Wives' Club hosted the Second Annual Flight Line Dash Jan. 12. The event supported four military charities. Participants had the option to run in a 10-K, 5-K or 1-K.
