U.S. Navy Sailors aboard the Amphibious Assault Ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) conduct a burial at sea, off the East Coast, Dec. 7, 2013. The 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit and the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group are scheduled to deploy in early 2014 to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of respnsibility as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force capable of conducting amphibious missions across the full range of military operations.
