On September 28, 2014, 2nd Marine Division Combat Camera produced a documentary highlighting the recent mission of 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment as part of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force (SPMAGTF) Crisis Response, SPMAGTF Africa, and The Black Sea Rotational Force. SPMAGTF Crisis Response also included elements from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 162, Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 252 and VMGR-352. U.S. Marines and sailors of Black Sea Rotational Force 14.2, from 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, perform clearing operations during exercise Agile Spirit 14 at Vaziani Training Area, Georgia, June 17. This fourth iteration of the Agile Spirit exercise will occur until 21 June, and includes live-fire training and a field exercise with both countries. The exercise is conducted with the Georgian Armed Forces within the Vaziani Training Area to increase partnership capacity and interoperability between the two nations.
