The Marine Corps Base Quantico Band leads the Band of Pride Tribute Nov. 10, 2014 in New York City. The Band of Pride Tribute is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support music education by offering high profile performance opportunities for young student musicians to empower them, enrich their lives, and foster a lifetime appreciation of music. The Actions Sports Association (ASA) High School Tour is a high-energy action sports circuit that visits cities across the United States. The tour supports the Anti-Defamation League's No Place for Hate Camaign and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids by bringing in five of the world's top professional skateboarders, inline skaters and BMX riders to perform on a state-of-the-art half pipe, while an emcee delivers an educational message in a fun, positive and interactive fashion. Due to the generosity of the U.S. Marine Corps and friends of both the Anti-Defamation League and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, the ASA High School Tour is able to bring the powerful bullying prevention and anti-tobacco message to high schools across the country at no cost to the schools.
