Maintaining an active state of preparedness takes work. Airman First Class Madison Champine reports from Yokota Air Base where Service members are receiving some valuable training that will help them refresh their skills.

U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune’s, Provost Marshal’s Office, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosive (CBRNE) defense specialists with Headquarters Battalion, 2d Marine Division, along with the firefighters and paramedics with Camp Lejeune Fire and Emergency Services and the Jacksonville Fire Department conduct CBRNE training on Camp Johnson, North Carolina, Oct. 14-16, 2020. Through the use of scenario based drills, Marines and firefighters trained to improve their techniques, tactics, procedures and timing that will aid in the detection, monitoring, sampling and decontamination capabilities when dealing with hazardous materials.
