U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conducted training throughout the Indo-Pacific region while embarked upon ships of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) during a deployment in the fall of 2020. Marines with 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit participate in a historical battle site tour in Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 19, 2019. Marines toured Kakazu Ridge, Camp Kinser Battle of Okinawa Historical Display, Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters , and Okinawa Peace Memorial Park to learn about the Marine Corps’ actions in Okinawa during World War II, with the tour supported by the Marine Corps Association & Foundation. The battlefield study was part of MCA&F’s Commanders’ Forum Program which provides battlefield studies and guest speakers free of charge, to help Marines grow as tactical decision makers and leaders. The opening video for the inaugural Tiger TRIUMPH featuring a combination of pre-existing B-roll of U.S. military capabilities across various training events in numerous locations. The first-ever tri-service exercise between the U.S. and Indian militaries will begin Nov. 13, 2019 in Visakhapatnam, India and will include some of the capabilities showcased in this video. Marines embarked on the USS Germantown October 27, 2015 at White Beach, Okinawa, Japan. The Marines and the Navy worked together on the Germantown to conduct carrier qualifications with an MV-22B Osprey and an amphibious assault with amphibious assault vehicles. Blue Chromite is an amphibious training exercise that draws primarily from III Marine Expeditionary Force’s training resources on Okinawa. Participating units maintain a forward-deployed posture while eliminating travel costs.

U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Alexander Dalziel believes he owes his Marines everything he’s got and trains them to the best of his abilities. Marines and sailors underwent a mock amphibious landing and assault across Okinawa as part of exercise Blue Chromite 15 from Nov. 2-3. Cpl. Wes Lucko takes us to the heart of the battle for the story
