Motor transportation Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force's three major support elements challenge each other in the 2nd Annual Truck Rodeo. The challenges gauge and reinforce each Marines prowess as drivers as they weave through obstacles with and without a trailer while trying to best each other's times. The truck rodeo also gave them an opportunity to show off some unit pride and build camaraderie.

MV-22 Osprey piolts with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262, Marine Air Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, obtain carrier qualification in conjunction with Blue Chromite 2016, a large-scale amphibious exercise in Okinawa, Japan. Units participating in Blue Chromite benefit from naval training resources in the area while maintaining a forward-deployed posture. Also available in high definition.

Marines from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 and Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 269 executed a spider forward arming and refueling point mission in Okinawa, Japan, October 28, 2015. The FARP mission facilitates small aircraft to operate longer, resupply in a shorter time frame and provide close air support more frequently. The event was part of Blue Chromite 2016. Because Blue Chromite is an amphibious training exercise that draws primarily from III Marine Expeditionary Force's training resources in Okinawa, participating units maintain a forward-deployed posture while eliminating travel costs. VMM-262 is with Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. HMLA-269 is with MAG 36 under the Unit Deployment Program. Also available in high definition.

Cpl. Connor Scott fast ropes out of a CH-53E Super Stallion Helicopter with his military working dog Bobo at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 8, 2015. Scott fast roped out of the CH-53E with Bobo attached to his back. The training familiarized the working dog and handler with riding on the helicopter and fast roping down in helicopter born assaults.

U.S. Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 UH-1Y Hueys bring relief supplies to Khopachagu, Nepal, May 11. HMLA-469, or "Vengeance", has flown 54 flight hours, delivering 68,307 pounds of food and shelter supplies to the rural areas of Nepal since their arrival on May 3. The government of Nepal declared a state of emergency and requested international assistance after the 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck their country April 25. The U.S. military responded, bringing their aircraft to support the Nepalese government. They will continue to support Nepal as needed with the United States Agency for International Development as part of Joint Task Force 505. U.S. Marines and airmen came together for a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear joint training exercise at Osan Air Base in the Republic of Korea, March 20. They conducted a Response Fitness Test as part of the exercise.

U.S. Marines with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Futenma participated in flight arrestment training with an F/A-18 Hornet at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 09, 2015. The equipment used in arrested landings help aircraft land within a limited distance, such as on an aircraft carrier or landing strip. MCAS Futenma does not usually take flight arrestments from jet aircraft so this made today’s event a valuable training opportunity for both the Marines on the ground and the pilot of the F/A-18 Hornet.
