Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466 worked with Marines on the ground to set up a forward air refueling point for training by using tank and pump systems on the inside of the CH-53E Super Stallion to bring fuel. They practiced bringing fuel into a remote location to fuel Humvees and other ground equipment where fuel trucks are not readily available or incapable of accessing.
