Marines and sailors will field-test more than 50 new technologies, everything from swarming unmanned surface vessels to self-driving Amtracks. The resulting force of these technological capabilities will integrate operations across all domains to include information and cyberspace.

The Combined Joint Civil-Military Operations Task Force element of Exercise Cobra Gold 2015 spearheads the humanitarian civic assistance mission of the exercise in facilitating four Engineer Civic Action Program sites throughout Thailand. The ENCAPS are located in the Lop Buri, Saraburi and Chanthaburi Provinces - and utilize the vertical construction abilities of the U.S., Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian, Indian, and Chinese military assets participating in CG15.
