More Information
Canine working dogs and their handlers from the Provosts Marshall Office train daily aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., to better prepare themselves and their dogs for their daily jobs. The handlers train the dogs to detect drugs and explosive materials, search for lost individuals and hidden suspects, and protect themselves and others by attacking potentially violent combatants. The dogs complete the tasks only for the praise and affection of their handlers, building a bond and trust between them. (Produced by Cpl. Chelsea D. Toombs/Released)
