NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (Nov. 23, 2020) Emergency Resuscitative Surgical System is a rapidly embarkable surgical capability that provides role 2 medical support to Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade forces as required. This additive or standalone capability can operate at sea or ashore. They provide a light and agile expeditionary medical capability consisting of a ten member team trained to provide rapid damage control, resuscitative care, damage control surgery, and enroute critical care in support of Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade forces. (January 12, 2020) Marines with Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team Central Command (FASTCENT) conduct marksmanship proficiency training. Throughout the afternoon the Marines had their combat marksmanship skills put to the test by executing numerous rifle drills. FASTCENT provides expeditionary anti-terrorism and security forces to reinforce embassies, consulates, and other vital national assets throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. The U.S. Navy and Marine Corps team comprising of Amphibious Ready Group America, embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, USS Puller and Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, will conduct sustainment and high-level tactical proficiency training to prepare our forces for expeditionary operations at sea, from the sea and ashore in one of the world's most austere environments during Alligator Dagger 17 beginning Sept. 4, 2017 in Djibouti. Alligator Dagger 17 is Task Force 51/5’s dedicated, unilateral combat rehearsal provided to the ARG/MEU, USS Puller and SPMAGTF-CR-CC in which each of the elements work together as a combined Navy and Marine Corps team to practice, rehearse and exercise integrated capabilities that are available to U.S. Central Command both afloat and ashore.
