Marines and sailors with 2nd Law Enforcement Battalion and 8th Marine Regiment conducted Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray training during a two-week long non-lethal weapons instructors course at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 30, 2015. The purpose of the training was to build confidence in the Marines and sailor's abilities to proficiently employ the OC spray, which is a lachrymatory agent, during policing, riot control, crowd control and self defense when necessary.
