MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- Marines teach midshipmen the proper techniques to execute the obstacle course and the basics of pugil sticks. The obstacle course and pugil stick fights are part of the Career Orientation and Training of Midshipmen program for future Navy and Marine Corps officers. The Career Orientation and Training of Midshipmen take current college students and futures officers to Camp Pendleton to show them how the Marine Corps operates and also its capabilities. The main objective is to teach midshipmen what it takes to be an officers in the Navy or Marine Corps.

Marines with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron participate it a warrior day on April 1, 2016 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina.
