Gold Team of the Golden Knights demonstrate their jump capabilities at the air show, Power in the Pines, on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, May 4th to May 6th. The "Power in the Pines" air show displays multiple branches aviation units, aviation history and how aviation units operate. This allows the public and other military branches to see how the United States Military operates, performs, and how far aviation ingenuity has come.

The MCAS Miramar Air Show showcases world-class performers, military flight demonstration teams, the capabilities of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force and celebrates Miramar’s longstanding relationship with the local San Diego community.

Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni hosted Friendship Day, May 5, 2016. Since 1973, MCAS Iwakuni has conducted a single day air show and open house specifically designed to foster positive relationships between the air station and our Japanese hosts, and the event traditionally draws more than 200,000 visitors and participants. This year is the 40th Friendship Day, offering a culturally enriching experience that displays the mutual support the U.S. and Japanese share.
