Military medical professionals from Canada, India, Mongolia, United States, Germany, and Republic of Korea participate in the Health Services Support Engagement (HSSE) at a local school in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, May 23, 2016. Canadian Armed Forces Captain Layoma Trudel-Gray, a physiotherapist, and U.S. Air Force Captain Amy Johnson, with the Alaska Air National Guard, 176th Medical Group, provide remarks about the health services offered to the local Mongolian community during Khan Quest 2016. Khaan Quest is an annual multinational peacekeeping operations exercise hosted by the Mongolian Armed Forces, co-sponsored by U.S. Pacific Command, and supported by U.S. Army Pacific and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific. Khaan Quest, in its 14th iteration, is the capstone exercise for this year’s Global Peace Operations Initiative program and will focus on training activities to enhance international interoperability, develop peacekeeping capabilities, build mil-to-mil relationships, and enhance military readiness.
