Marines from 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Divison conducted a fire team live-fire exercise at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, May 8-10.

Marines with Company I, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force test new boots and uniforms Aug. 5 at the Jungle Warfare Training Center in Okinawa, Japan. The new equipment is lighter and capable of drying faster than the current uniforms and boots. The Marines have been staying in the field for two weeks testing the new gear while going through the course.
