The Warfighter Express Service Team delivers goods and services not available to Marines in remote locations across the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. The Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 5 are part of the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command, a self-sustaining expeditionary unit designed to provide crisis response capabilities throughout U.S. Central Command area of responsibility using organic aviation, logistical and ground combat assets to include embassy reinforcement and tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel.
