Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, CBIRF, conducted joint training with the Fire Department of New York at the FDNY Fire Academy, Randall's Island, New York, Sept. 12- 16, 2016. CBIRF Marines and sailors participated in several lane training exercises including ropes training, vehicle extrication, medical and technical rescue training in confined spaces, urban technical rescue techniques, hazardous materials handling and more. CBIRF participated in a scenario-based Final Exercise, Sept. 16, 2016, in which CBIRF responded to explosions at a water treatment facility. (U.S. Marine Corps Motion Imagery by Staff Sgt.
