The mental agility pillar of the U.S. Marine Corps Junior Enlisted Performance Evaluation System will be adjusted to account for completion of MOS proficiency enhancing courses and qualifications. Beginning in late July 2021, select aviation maintenance MOS’s will receive points within the mental agility pillar for earning key qualifications. This initiative will extend to all MOS's over the next year as Headquarters Marine Corps works with the occupational fields to develop a list of key courses and/or qualifications for each MOS. On October 9th 2017, motorcycle riders should be prepared to physically show their Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) approved Basic Rider Course (BRC) credentials to Camp Pendleton gate sentries. All motorcycle riders will be checked as they enter the base. A delay in presentation of the credentials to the sentry will effect traffic, so riders are encouraged to have their BRC card readily available along with photo I.D.
