There is no better time to express our appreciation than during the holiday season for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The surrounding San Diego community gathered for Miramar National Cemetery’s annual Wreaths Across America ceremony to give their support to friends and family who have lost loved ones.

U.S. Marine Corps Master Sgt. Cory Paskvan, training chief, 2nd Recon Battalion, and Christopher May, founder, Brother Recon, reflect on what recon means to them. This year marks the 10th annual Recon Challenge. Come out and observe recon Marines from around the Marine Corps push themselves physically and mentally through the most challenging obstacles on May 17th, 2018. 1st Law Enforcement Battalion invited gold star family members to a weekend of camaraderie and fellowship.

OCEANSIDE, Calif. – Marines with 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, and 12th Marine District, support the Honor Bowl, a two-day high school football event here, Sept 6 and 7, 2013. Marines with 3rd Bn., 5th Marines, answered questions at a static display and were honored before the coin toss of the Saturday night game. Gold Star families with the battalion were escorted by service members onto the field as the guests of honor. Available in High Definition.
