Recruit Training Fourth Phase

Beginning November 2017, the Marine Corps will implement a fourth phase at recruit training. This phase will afford drill instructors more time to demonstrate a Marine-to-Marine mentor relationship and provide an opportunity for recruits to transition into their new roles as Marines.
