Explosive ordnance disposal Marines experience realistic, simulated improvised explosive devices at Twentynine Palms, California. The training provides different scenarios that the Marines may experience during deployment. Realistic Urban Training is a Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise that Provides the opportunity to integrate more advanced individual and unit skills to develop the 13th MEU's collective proficiency in challenging and unfamiliar environments.
