More Information
U.S. service members and Japanese locals participate in the Daimyo Procession Kimono Costume Parade featured in the 41st Annual Kintai Bridge Festival in Iwakuni City, Japan, April 29, 2018. The parade was originally held as a religious service when the former Iwakuni castle lord, or Jyoshu, came to greet the townspeople. Presently, it’s a local tourist attraction that draws an estimated 40,000 people annually. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl Campbell Marcus)
