In this week's episode of Prep Time, we highlight our Motor Transport Marines who work behind the scenes to ensure the safe transport of Marines and guests of Marine Barracks Washington to and from the Barracks for the Friday Evening Parades and the Lincoln Memorial for our Tuesday Sunset Parades.

Drill Master of Marine Barracks Washington Gunnery Sgt. Aaron Calderon is in charge of preparing Marines, such as the Silent Drill Platoon and the Official Marine Corps Color Guard, for ceremonies in the National Capital Region and around the world. He is also the subject matter expert for drill in the Marine Corps. This video was captured to recruit Marines to apply for the position of Drill Master before June 1, 2018. The Evening Parade, held every Friday evening during the summer, has become a universal symbol of the professionalism, discipline and Esprit de Corps of the United States Marines. The story of the ceremony reflects the story of Marines throughout the world. The 2018 Parade Season kicks off Friday, May 4.
