Marines with 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment participated in a Mountain Training Exercise (MTX) aboard Mountain Warfare Training Center(MWTC), Bridgeport, Calif. Oct. 2018. The battalion was split into a force-on-force mock firefight to put into action what they learned during their MTX training. The Marines were trained by MWTC instructors referred to as "red hats".
