Captain John McKenna IV, is now the new name of a park in Brooklyn to honor the ultimate sacrifice he made in Iraq.

Sgt. Maj. John Canley will become the 298th Marine to be awarded the Medal of Honor. As a gunnery sergeant during the Vietnam War, Canley took command of Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, after his company commander was wounded during the Battle of Hue City. Over several days, he led his Marines while saving lives and eliminating enemy threats. Canley's fellow Marines described him as "fearless" during the war. He was originally awarded a Navy Cross for his actions. It is being upgraded to a Medal of Honor (U.S. Marine Corps video by Mat Gleeson and Ric Robinson)

Col David Fallon, commanding officer of the 9th Marine Corps Recruiting District, speaks about the relationship between the Marines and USA Wrestling. Men and Women wrestlers of all ages participated in the 2018 Marine Corps Open Wrestling Championship in Las Vegas April 25-29, 2018. The Marine Corps partnered with USA Wrestling to reach out to young and highly qualified wrestlers, who share many similar warrior traits with Marines, and teach them life-long lessons that they can carry on and off the mat.
