Last night was the start of the year's RS Dallas Female Pool Function. The Poolees met drill instructors and learned some of the things they will need to know when they arrive at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. This morning they will rise and shine at 0600 for more training.

U.S. Marine Corps SSgt Enrique Velazquez, a Senior Drill Instructor, with 1st Recruit Training BN., Recruit Training Regiment, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, and SSgt Seung Hur, a Drill Instructor, with 3rd Recruit Training BN., Recruit Training Regiment, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina, follow alongside Republic of Korea Marine Corps (ROKMC) Drill Instructors during a ROKMC recruit training iteration, on ROK Marine Corps Base Pohang, South Korea, Nov. 15-16, 2023. The DI Exchange was crated in order for ROKMC and USMC DI's to learn and train with one another, in order to improve both services in what we do best, making Marines.
