2018 Semper Ride Expo and Poker Run at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, California, Oct. 5, 2018. The expo consisted of a closed course loop around MCB Camp Pendleton which had pre-designated stations where the riders chose a card for the best poker hand. The event culminated with a motocross demonstration and free prize giveaways. Semper Ride is a partnership between Headquarters Marine Corps Safety Division and Marine Corps Community Services that brings awareness to motorcycling the right way through action-packed riding events, as well as the expo that is open to all active and retired service members, their families and civilian employees. Marine Corps Community Services hosted a Semper Ride event at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., June 27, 2018. The event was created to educate Marines about motorcycle safety awareness to reduce motorcycle mishaps throughout the Marine Corps. Semper Ride speakers gave safety presentations and professional motorcycle riders performed a freestyle motocross demo. U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Kevin J. Killea, commanding general, Marine Corps Installations West, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton hosted the 2nd Annual Camp Pendleton Historic Ride, May 5, 2018. The Historic Ride is held to afford participants the opportunity to to see Camp Pendleton from horseback.
