Montford Point Marine Gunnery Sgt. F.M. Hooper (ret.) speaks on what it means to him to be a United States Marine and his pride to be one of the first African-Americans to serve in the Corps. Hooper is one of the original 20,000 African-American Marines who trained at Montford Point, N.C. from 1942-1949.
