U.S. Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), takeoff for Unit Deployment Program at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, Calif., March 8. The Red Devils are in the Unit Deployment Program rotation and are preparing to depart for MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. Their mission during this six-month deployment is strengthening relationships, modernizing U.S. alliances and protecting joint security in the Indo-Pacific region.
