Marines from units across II Marine Expeditionary Force and the Marine Raider Regiment conducted a coxswain course at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, March 7-8, 2018. Units that took part in the training included the Expeditionary Operations Training Group, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, and 2nd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company.

A team of U.S. Marines and Coast Guardsmen taught small-boat operations and infantry tactics to Compagnie Fusilier de Marin Commandos in Toubacouta, Senegal, August 31-September 11, 2015. For two weeks, Marines and Coast Guardsmen with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa, Detachment A, spent time on land and water with members of the Senegalese COFUMACO teaching them essential skills to maintain regional stability and mitigate illicit trafficking.
