Fernando Pena, project officer for the Explosive Ordinance Disposal team at Marine Corps Systems Command describes the technological advancements and fielding schedule for the EOD 10 Advanced Bomb Suit.

Service members participated in the Circuit Rider Course (CRC) at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, July 24-25 2019. The CRC is the most advanced motorcycle course offered to Marines, Sailors and their families stationed at Cherry Point. The course teaches cutting-edge riding techniques to train the participants on how to deal with real world situations while on the road. All of the techniques are taught at real world speeds, giving the students a chance to familiarize themselves with the techniques while in a controlled, safe environment. This training is intended to reduce motorcycle mishaps for service members.

U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Melissa Garbutt with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171 speaks about her Marine Corps experiences over the past 16 years. Garbutt is an expeditionary fire rescue specialist, currently stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, continues leading and developing Marines under her charge. U.S. Marines with 4th Civil Affairs Group, Force Headquarters Group, and local law enforcement participate in a simulated active shooter exercise at Naval Operational Support Center & Marine Corps Reserve Center Miami. All 160 Marine Corps Reserve Training Centers are expected to exercise their active shooter emergency action plan semi-annually with their Inspector-Instructor staff and Reserve Marines. U.S. Marines and Sailors participate in the Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival (MCWIS) course on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, April 22 - May 10, 2019.
