The Lance Corporal Leadership and Ethics Seminar is intended to teach junior Marines leadership skills and the responsibilities that come with the rank. The Lance Corporal Seminar was founded in 2014, it is required of all junior enlisted Marines to attend before they pick up the rank of Corporal. Freddy Torres, a native of Tucson, Arizona, speaks about his experiences as the chief instructor for multiple professional military education courses for Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations West, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, on Camp Pendleton, Sept. 26, 2019. Torres joined the Marine Corps in 2006 as in infantryman. Before serving with H&S Bn., he served with 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, and 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st MARDIV. Communication Strategy and Operations Marines conduct a memorial ruck run at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan, May 15, 2019. The run is dedicated to U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Sara A.
