2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment participated in a six month long Unit Deployment Program out of Okinawa, Japan. Throughout this six month deployment they participated in numerous training evolutions to make the “Lava Dogs” more lethal and ready to respond to any crisis, in any country, in the INDOPACOM area of responsibility.
