The commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa, Maj. Gen. Stephen M. Neary, visited Royal Navy’s newest aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth in Portsmouth, United Kingdom, August 27, 2020. During the visit, Neary met with the carrier’s leadership and toured the HMS Queen Elizabeth to increase understanding of the U.S. Marine Corps’ future operations with the UK Carrier Strike Group. U.S. Marines from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 211, along with approximately six F-35B aircraft, will support the ship’s inaugural deployment in 2021. Lt. Gen. Michael A. Rocco, the Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, says "thank you" to all the Marines and Civilian Marines in the Manpower, Personnel, and Administration community for their hard work and professionalism. Successful Marine Corps units are the product of many efforts, particularly the lasting commitment of administrators - those providing direct support to the command team, Marines, and their families.

(January 12, 2020) Marines with Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team Central Command (FASTCENT) conduct marksmanship proficiency training. Throughout the afternoon the Marines had their combat marksmanship skills put to the test by executing numerous rifle drills. FASTCENT provides expeditionary anti-terrorism and security forces to reinforce embassies, consulates, and other vital national assets throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Troy E. Black makes a visit to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point during his tour of different Marine Corps instillations on Jan. 9, 2020. Black’s visit included speaking with the staff of Marine and Family Programs, Marine Corps Community Services Cherry Point to discuss available resources and facilities, on-base housing subject matter experts to discuss quality of life concerns and the Atlantic Marine Corps Communities housing responsibilities to the instillation’s patrons. Black completed his visit after sitting with Marines for chow to discuss upcoming changes around the Corps.
